Welcome to Eve Trew School of Dance. Based in Gateshead, we conduct classes for dance enthusiasts across Tyne and Wear and the North East.
An established dance school
Eve Trew is a renowned dance teacher in the North East with a versatile experience of over 50 years in various dance forms. She is a life member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). At Eve Trew School of Dance, we provide a safe and friendly environment for your children. We follow a well-structured syllabus that is carefully designed to strengthen performance and technique. Our goal is to nurture exceptional talent by offering some of the finest training.
Here’s how we grew
Established in the 1957, our dance school takes on pupils from the age of 3 years. We have always been committed to providing first-class dance tuition to every child.

In addition to our dance classes, we set up the Gateshead Children's Arts and Theatre School (CATS) for children aged 5-13 years and is one of the most highly-recommended theatre schools
in the area.
